Setting: Medical Surgical Unit
Position Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Pay Range: $28–$37/hr (Based on Experience) + Shift Differentials

Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts

  • Days or Nights available

  • 36 hours per week

  • Self-scheduling available

  • Overtime opportunities available

Weekend & Holiday Requirements

  • Every other weekend required

  • Option to work every Saturday or every Sunday, as long as half of the monthly weekend shifts are covered

  • Every other holiday required (rotating schedule)

Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a Medical Surgical team. Under the direction of nursing leadership, the RN will provide safe, evidence-based patient care while utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced nurses and new graduates looking to build their careers in a supportive hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care needs

  • Float to other units within scope of practice as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program

  • Active Kansas RN License or Compact RN License

  • BLS Certification required

  • ACLS and PALS may be obtained after hire

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
