Full Job Description

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced Emergency Registered Nurse (RN). Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign on & relocation bonuses. Full-time, Night Shift: 7pm-7am, 3x12 hour shifts per week.

Inova Fair Oaks Emergency Room is a 34-bed emergency services facility recently renovated and expanded to serve patients, both adult and pediatric, more efficiently. Emergency medical care is provided by board-certified physicians from Virginia Emergency Medical Associates (VEMA).

Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.

• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.

• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes

• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Requirements:

• Work Schedule: Full Time Night Shift (3x12's, 7p-7a)

• Experience: Requires a minimum of (1) year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. Prefer minimum (2) years ED RN experience.

• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

• License: Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.

• Certification: BLS from American Heart Association. CEN/ACLS certification preferred.
